We had to hand in our continuity film today. My nerves won't be settled until I get my footage back though :D

Hands on Camera #7 (Ed Timpe)

Today we screened our mis-en-scene with Ed. He looked more at the technical side of our shoots. He advised on how we could have shot it better and pointed out what went wrong. Ed is an excellent teacher and a awesome guy as well. I didn't get a lot of comments because the lighting was ok and the footage was pretty good.

Edit Production Workshop

I got my footage that I shot on the Universal backlot back and had to edit it. I shot everything in one take. So it took me only an hour to edit so I was home early for once. I won't be me if I wasn't totally satisfied. But If I would have known I could have used 2 roles of film I would have definitely shot some extra footage. Plus because my AC opened the camera without rolling through the film a little further before opening the cam I lost my last scene. It was a last minute, spur of the moment shot that didn't necessarily add anything more then a little comic relief. But still it bugged me,… By the way this is what it turned out to look like.
