Open pre-production time

So some more time to work on your films. I got in school early. Mostly because we could get some props for our project on the Universal lot. I figured out what I wanted to shoot yesterday and today in the preproduction time i made a detailed script with what and how I wanted to shoot it.

Concepts of editing #1 (Igor Torgeson)

A new teacher who explained the role of editor. Apparently caffeine is an editors best friend. So since I don't like caffeine I guess that's not the job with my name written all over it :D Igor is really funny and so was his class. We watched a scene from Laurence of Arabia and how the editors choices effected the film.

We had our first experience using Final Cut Pro. And it is much easier and straight foreword then iMovie. But still it were baby steps so we'll have to see how quick I'll really know what I'm doing. Tomorrow we'll be editing our Mise-en Scene. Since that's one scene with just one shot it'll be pretty quick I guess.
