We finally arrived in Saigon at 4am this morning, after losing a day on the train. Got motos to Pham Ngu Lao which is the area we stayed in before. They tried to charge us $10 until Dan explained that we'd been here before.... Due to the ungodly hour, there were no hotels open so we went to a 24 hour bar, called Saigon. Met a couple of drunk Irish then sat with a guy from Singapore , talking to him til 9am. Found a hotel and sorted out visas and bus for Cambodia. Saw Jay and Yvonne who we'd met in Hue and arranged drinks later. It felt good to be back in Saigon. Love this place!
