We arrived at the Koh tao port just after 8pm for the overnight boat. I hadn't thought much about what the boat or journey would be like, as we're racking them up now. We've spent a very chilled 5 days lying on the beach, eating long lunches, reading, and exploring, and 5 nights drinking cocktails and listening to music at the beach bars. I think what I may miss most about South East Asia is the languages. In most places we've been we only hear the exotic and often melodic sounds of conversations we don't understand. Its quite liberating when you are free of the pressure of understanding. You can soak up the atmosphere without being tied to the monotony of everyday things.
