Mission beach is where you go to do your Skydive but we are saving that beauty for NZ!! Its again a small town and we pretty much didnt leave our hostel as it was too hot to go anywhere so we just stayed by the pool. The hostel was nice though with air-con rooms....this is an essential in the tropics! The one thing that we have learnt from travelling Oz is that you die in the heat if you do not have air-conned rooms...Byron Bay is one such place!! :( Also we have never been bitten as much as we have in Mission Beach...we think they have been bidding their time all these years to strike now!!!!

We cooked on the evenings with Mary, Darren and Adam (the people we met on Fraser) and played cards and drank good old Aussie beer :)

You could also do white water rafting here but again this is being saved for NZ. The last couple of places along the coast have been abit quieter but its better as then we have more money to spend in NZ.
