Monday was spent entirely on the road and we covered over 500 miles during the day, trying to get as close to Orlando as possible. We made Talahassee, which is actually the capital of Florida quite late in the afternoon and found a nice motel. It was a tiring day but the driving was made easy by the excellence of the US highways.                                                     They are wide, pretty straight ...

Well, it is getting late in the afternoon and we are just about all packed and ready to leave. Tomorrow we will pick up Greg and Jasmin and head for Perth. Our flight for Sydney leaves at 11.45am. There is still some room in our cases (that's a first!!), but I think we have got it all sorted - whatever we have missed we can buy over there. Have just done an on-line check in for our flight and got window seats for Jasmin and me. So let the holiday begin!
