Well, we left Greenville behind today after a fantastic few days, and headed north towards the Smoky Mountains. We stopped at the BMW manufacturing plant near Spartanburg to see have a look at the Zentrum Centre (museum and display) and enquire about a plant tour. The tours for the morning were fully booked and the only available one was at 1pm - way too long for us to wait - but I pleaded with the receptionist and she put us on the next tour at 10am!!!The ninety...

Drove to Myrtle Beach first thing this morning and found it much like the Gold Coast in Qld but without as many high rise buildings. The beach was clean and very tidy considering the number of people on summer holiday there and all the accommodation looked full up. We stopped and took some photos on the beach and then walked out onto pier where there were dozens of people fishing - quite successfully too by what was in their buckets.                 ...
