The following morning we left Mount Gambier and arrived at Nelson before heading into the Lower Glenelg National Park. We stopped for the afternoon at Wilson Hill Picnic area and spent the afternoon fishing, but yet again no bites but it was windy and raining throughout the afternoon.

Up early in the morning and this time we got a couple of bites but no fish. We then moved onto Portland to have a look around, went out to the Cape Nelson lighthouse and came across paddocks of heaps of cattle, this was holding yards for Cape Nelson Exports. We stopped for the night at Homerton behind the CFA fire station.
