Thanksgiving was a success. Dinner for about 120 people. Employees and family. The app was italian, Prosciutto and cheese. The turkey, gravy, mashed potatos were excellent as was the apple pie. I was told they nailed the pumpkin pie, but i am an apple pie man. A typical italian dinner, a long time between courses, in fact some left before deserrt. I was thinking a dessert. We were told to be there at 6pm and i got home at 10:14.
The venue was beautiful. A large farm house in the middle of no where. See my pictures for views of he venue. it would be nice to wake up every morning to that. It was hard to find for some and impossible for others .:( A typical italian dinner, a long time between courses, in fact some left before deserrt. I was thinking a dessert table to server yourself would have been the way to go.
I am sure it was difficult for the chefs to cook an american dinner for 120 people. But i enjoyed it. I was nice to see people outside of work and meet their spouses.

Nick Klaene Bill, I took a Prosciutto and pear dish, thank Martha Stewart, as an app. to dinner with friends for Thanksgiving. I must have been getting some vibes from you. The rest was traditional. Only 4 weeks till retirement, it's one thing to be thankful for while getting older. Glad you had a good day. Nick

jean moon I suppose in Italy you are suppose to savor every bite. Here we just seem to eat too fast. I think it would be wonderful to visit a city where the pace is slower.
