Trulli's are unique stone structures found in southern italy. Most are in or near olive orchards. There are larger more elaborate trulli's in the mountains. The ones like this one in the picture, so the story goes were built in this manner so when the tax collector came, the home could be quickly and easily deconstructed so the taxes were not so high.

On the sunday, the day after the Boeing team helps clean up a park in the aftermath of the Tornado, we had a much deserved christmas dinner/recognition dinner for all our accomplishments this year. It was a beautiful venue the Relais La Fontanina, outside of Franka Villa. It was a great time, and the food was great in my opinion. Loved the pork loin. Yum. My first week in Italy, It started with a 2 hour delay. I made my connecting flight in Rome but my luggage didnt. :( The good thing was i got to fly business class for the frist time in my life. It was nice and they fed you more. I learned that you get "tired butt" in coach or Business class you you fly that long. (would have been better on a Boeing Jet) :).
