Finally made it to Galway and pretty much crashed the minute I got there, but up and about this morning! Booked a tour to the Aran Islands, in particular Inishmoor. Rented a bike once I got there and headed to the highest peak, an old fort area known as Dün Aengus. It was gorgeous, a little area of the world that time forgot, just miles of rolling green hills separated by crumbling some walls and beautiful sheer cliffs on the high side. I also left with a traditional Aran sweater, as I think I may need another layer in the evening. At the end of the day I headed back (seriously sun burnt) and headed out for dinner. I found a new cider - orchards thieves!
