I'm being brave today!!!! I've rented a car and I'm headed down the 'Wild Atlantic Way', or at least a portion of it from Galway to Loop Head Peninsula.

So worth the cost of renting a car!!! It was a stunning drive, and incredibly well sign posted as well. Lots of pretty little stop offs with the main highlight being the Cliffs of Moher. Kind of a little speechless on that one, gorgeous or stunning doesn't quite seem to cut it. Plus the little town of Doolin right near it was adorable (and had delicious desserts).

The end of the journey today was a cute B&B located a little past Kilkee in the Loop Peninsula proper. Just miles upon miles of walking and biking trails budged up right to the cliff sides. I don't say this often, but Kilkee is now on my list for a regular vacation; find a house to rent, stay for a week or so, and bring Loki along with me.
