La Spezia is absolutely gorgeous !!! Beautiful old buildings and a stunning coast line not far from our bed and breakfast. Last day in Florence. Im sad because I loved it here! Went to see the real David today. Shocked by the line because one of the girls we met had to wait 3 hours !!! We only waited about 20- we have been really lucky with lines this hole trip. The statue was beautiful, the details were amazing- all the veins and ... muscles! So much has been happening here in Florence... Internet not the greatest... First night in we did a night tour which was short and sweet. Saw the copy of David which was impressive, the beautiful Duomo which was really out of this world, and one of the main centers with high end shops such as Chanel. Sienna was amazing. It's a very small cute little town. Enjoyed lots of gelato ( Ferraro Rochier omg !!) and did a little bit of shopping. Sienna is known for the Il Palio horse races that they hold twice a year- unfortunately we missed them. They hold them in the main town square, which is hard to picture because it doesn't seem that big. Arrived in Siena ! Beautiful drive in with rolling hills and little towns on top of them. Our stop off was in a cute little town called Orvieto which reminded me a lot of Brugge. Had an amazing pork sandwich there and explored all the little shops. Got in at the campsite around 1330. We have a nice little mobile home, only downside is no air conditioning .... So cold showers will be our friend here. Hung out at the pool for the afternoon. Weird factor here is...
