So with 2 days left we decided to chill out and rent a dvd player, got our last minute shopping and in true backpacker style we bumped into friends that we had made along the way..

First we saw Ali and Andrew from Coral bunglows, we had a beer with Gemma and Bella before bumping into good ole Magnus and Sabina! On our last day we ran into Rosie and Dan and scrapping the barrel for our last bit of travel karma we gave them our bags we didnt need!

The last supper was spent with Rosie, Dan, Magnus and Sabina..we had a beer and our very last Pad Thai..Whilst paying for the bill Jayne realised that our bus tickets to the airport had gone missing! just what we needed when our flight was due to leave in 2 hours...It was a quick farewell as we ran up the Kohsan road with all our luggage and began to beg the woman at the bus ticket office to still let us on the bus! So that last bit of travel karma was already used up when she obviously felt sorry for us and said that it was ok!

The flight was boring, long and to be honest we were finding it hard to come to terms with it all being over!

When we touched down in London

the sun was shining... YEAH RIGHT! of course it was overcast, grey and miserable...but we couldnt wait to see our families.. The luggage seemed to take forever but at last we were reunited with everyone. ..Lisa's Dad had the camera ready so we could put our welcome home shot on the blog and then it was great big hugs all round and a few emotional tears..

After spending 24 hrs together over the period of 6 months it was extremely odd to leave eachothers side...well, what is there left to say. ??

It has been the most incredible journey, both physically and definately emotionally..but we both agree that we wouldnt change a thing! well almost!!teehee

It feels very hard to sit here and sum up the last 6 months, words just cannot describe the memories we have shared, the people we have met and the challenges we have overcome! Thanks for sharing it with us and here is to the next time! wink wink!
