The flight was short and sweet just like the others we have had here is south east asia. It was only a 4 hr bus ride to Hoi An..we were very excited about seeing Ang and Rich again.. We were with them throughout our Kiwi Bus tour and hadn't seen them since the end of February! As soon as we arrived we found our rooms and then went on a tailor tour with Dara, showing us all of the tailors that she recommends. that was going to be our main activity here in Hoi An! We boarded the overnight train in Hanoi at 7pm sharing our cabin with Bex and Laura. We slept well but as we woke up Dara came to inform us that from 12am-5am we were sat on the tracks which meant we were already 5hrs delayed.. (no wonder we slept well!)..To be honest most people were moaning and couldnt wait to get off of the train us and Laura were enjoying a lie-in! We arrived and checked into Victory Hotel..it was such a shock to be in such a busy place again so to begin with most of us didnt warm to Hanoi straight away!
