Woke up and had tea and toast on the farm! and surprisingly clear heads considering how much fun we had all had in Denedin!

So we loaded up Queenie said thank you and off we went yet again in the pouring rain! But before we left Dunedin we wanted to find Baldwin St.. The steepest street in the world! .. Wasnt too hard to find...Even with Jayne's encouragement there was no way Lisa was gonna try and drive up it in an automatic vitara!!! hahaha

We were on our way to Wanaka - our next stop! Such a long day driving but we had learnt from our mistake and called ahead to pre-book The Purple Cow hostel by the lake. Arrived at yet another stinky dorm! and tried to book the cinema.. no chnace- due to the weather everyone had the same idea so the only showing we could see was at 8.15pm and a film called 'No Country for Old Men' (or something like that anyway)...

So we went to the supermarket - Jayne and Lisa bought chicken Kievs! how mean are we!!!teehee... and we went back to the hostel to cook..Time for the cinema..we had already been told from our buddies that had been to this cinema that there was a morris minor with 3 seats in the cinema..the rest of the seats are cosy sofas..such a novelty..

That was it we knew we wanted the car but there were 4 girls ahead of us in the queue..haha..no test for us though..Lisa yet again sharpened her elbows and made a run for it! haha..and yes we won..

The car was comfotable- the home made ice-cream was fantastic- the warm cookies at the interval were amazing! shame the movie was an absolute pile of ummm...manure!!!

We get back to the dorm and we were so tired! bit of a disturbed night really! Jayne book that she was reasding (a text book sized one at that!) fell down from the top bunk onto Lisa's head - Needless to say she was less than impressed teehee... and then the man in the bunkbed next to ours began makes horse noises in his sleep! glad we were there only one night!

Woke up the next mornign and it was time to give Queenie back - 3 very sad girls returned to Queenstown and checked into Bumbles , our new hostel!
