so we manage to get our flight the next day even if it was 2 hrs delayed.. arrive in auckland quite late so very happy we have pre-booked a hostel..

woke up the next day decided it was time for laudry..well...we washed everything we own cos it was damp from the cyclone..it took ages..but we were so glad!!

had a wlk around auckland, grabbed somthing to eat - saw the sky tower and had a stroll to the harbour..

everyone has explained that there isnt much to do here so move on as quick as possible!...we get our kiwi passes and then arrange to head out for a beer with some people from our dorm..

well our beer turned into a pub crawl, stopping when we found a bar which had buy one get one free vouchers! needless to say we went to bed around 2.30amish and got up early for the bus leaving us fragile!

meet a couple on the bus, Lynsey and Guy and a girl who has been working north of auckland for a few months her name is Pippa.. they are all really nice..

so choices choice...kayaking or a 20 min stroll to smugglers cove which apparently beautiful.. no brainer! stroll for us!

20 MINUTES...YEAH RIGH! haha...more like a 40 minute hike...i mean hike...hahaha

it was lovely and we felt like we might have burnt off a little of the subway we ate the previous day..

back on the bus to get to turtle cove..our next hostel..

very unlike us - early night!!
