So we left Hi-de-hi for a drive to KaKa point..we had decided to stop at Invercargill for lunch and a look around but considering the weather was soooo horrible we just parked the car and ran to subway!! result!!

Off we were again on our journey to Kaka point...the weather was so rubbish but we had great fun with lots of car karaoke!! (I miss you Caitlin)...

Arriving in Kaka point we found the signpost to the hostel up against a hill...hmmm wheres the building..finally noticed a small pathway that was overgrown so we followed it up to the most random appartment-ish place! Opened the door to discover we were sharing with a couple from Israel..who funnily enough had the same name! wierd..yet none of us caught on and remembered it..

We decided to make our way up to the lighthouse at Nugget Point as the good old Lonely Planet guide said you could drive up to it... could you hell... you still had to hike up a huge hill...passing the extremely fit 80 yr old who obviously walk A LOT! teehee...us 3 were heavy breathing and Jayne and Lisa kept reminding ourselves that we climbed a glacier - why is this so hard!!

Back to the pub for a drink before we unloaded our stuff, and then surprise surprise we were back to the pub for drinks later! yeah yeah , we know...but it was a well deserved few drinks people!!!
