We are in Bergen tonight and took a before dinner walk where I met my new friend (see photo). Today was a long day in the bus with breaks due to two ferry rides, but or so worth the trip as we saw more spectacular scenery. We started out at 8am with an hour long ferry ride past the awesome Seven Sisters waterfall and gazing across the fjord was another fantastic waterfall called the suitor. Today I walked from our hotel down and and then up these 23 flights of stairs along the waterfall to walk around the little town and along the waterfront, a great way to start the morning knowing I could have dessert tonight due to all the walking and using a natural stair master. From Fjell to Fjord Today we traveled along the roof of Norway as we experience snow capped peaks, glaciers, emerald lakes, blue ice and the most spectacular scenery we've had yet. Today is our first official day in Norway. Leaving the ferry we boarded a coach bound for ski country. We all noted that the scenery seemed so pristine and all the rural building clean and painted, like an advertisement. The spring thaw has created many scenic waterfalls.
