Kadie decided to even up the numbers a bit today and join us on our jaunt. First stop was muffin break. They were doing some sort of promotion that involved winning stuff from scratch cards. Kadie got really carried away and ended up with loads! After boosting our energy with caffine and cake we were off to Kings park. It was our first glimpse of the city. The buildings are a real mixture of old an new. Modern, glass sky scrapers all jostling for space among the old 'new Orleans' style buildings.

We climbed to the top of the park, not literally, obviously, and drank in the view of the Swan River and the Perth skyline. As usual I got a bit snap happy. I really studied the instructions for my camera before coming away so I've been trying every setting it has. Woe betide anyone that asks to see the pictures! How many pictures of trees and building can any one woman need? I was so busy remembering this setting and that, I completely forgot to get in any of the shots. Maybe next time.

Nandos for lunch. We introduced Rich an Kadie to their chickeny delights. This really is a holiday of 'firsts' for fella. Flip flops, Nandos . . . He's gonna be exhausted!
