Last day in Rome! Today we woke up very early to have breakfast and then caught the bus into central Rome again for some more exploring. We were dropped at the Colsessum and we met up with a guide that was going to give us a tour through Ancient Rome. We saw lots of unbelievable sites and it's crazy to think that these were made without any power tools or cranes! I learnt so much from the tour and I really enjoyed it! Then we stopped to have a gelato and I had Nutella flavoured and watermelon flavoured gelato it was amazing! After that we walked to the Pantheon and saw the beautiful works of art inside, and we went to the Trevi Fountain. I flipped a coin and made a wish into the fountain but I can't say what I wished for otherwise it won't come true. We had some free time to wander around the streets near the Spanish steps and we walked into the expensive shops and pretended we had too much money to buy anything! The funny thing about Italy is, all the sidewalks are part of the road and all the side streets are part of the road so you have to be careful when walking the streets ( the WEP staff have had to make sure we aren't walking in the middle of the street a few times). Tomorrow I will go to my host family and I am so excited ahhhhhhh!!!
