Day 1 of Italy! My orientation course in Rome has been so far amazing!! We went to the post office (Italian post offices are also their banks!) and it was an experience! Only four people could enter the post office at one time and we had to go through a lift to enter the actual office. There were security guards standing outside the post office wearing bulletproof vests on and they had guns so it was pretty full on! I have made friends with some of the other exchange students and turns out lots of them are going around Milan so maybe I will see some of them there! At about lunch time it started to rain so everyone was madly taking pictures of the first rainfall we saw in Italy! I am loving this experience more and more each day!
I am still extremely jet lagged though. I will be tired at lunch time and then wake up at 2am so it's not fun, but I have to just push through.
