Quite and early start today as we went to the Museo Vaticano at 9. We got a parking spot fairly easily (which was good) and then skipped the 2883hour waiting line to buy tickets (not even an exaggeration) and then started out little audio tour, the Museo Vaticano was absolutely incredible!!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes half of the time as most of it had been built before Australia had even been founded!! We saw statues made of marble and lots and lots and lots of incredible paintings done by Rafael and Michelangelo, Rooms and rooms were painted with gorgeous colours. When it was time for us to go to Capella Sistina there were sings everywhere saying 'no photos' people saying 'no photos' and over the loudspeaker 'no photos' but what do I do take sneaky photos (hey it was better than the people getting out their massive cameras and taking photos, I took a sneaky one on my phone) but Capella Sistina was amazing, it was so detailed with gorgeous paintings that literally covered the entire ceiling and the entire of the walls. After we finished at the museum we had a walk to look at Saint peters church (again the cue was 178384844938 hours long, it went around the whole piazza) so I decided that I can just google images to see what it looks like inside. Then when we were walking back to the car, this man says to me (I hadn't spoken Italian or English) 'excuse me can I help you, are you looking for the museum?' I didn't think he was talking to me so I didn't respond then he says agin 'sorry did I get my English right?' Like how do all these people know I speak English?!?! It is weiiiiird! Then we went to say hi to a family who were very nice and then, after a verrrry long day had dinner and went to bed!
