What a day! After having I lovely sleep in, had breakfast and the we went to say hi to Massimo's parents (who live literally around the corner from Michela/ mum!!) after we had said hi to them, we had lunch then went into Rome, as I had already visited lots of the sights we went to the Mouth of truth (if you put your hand in the masks mouth and someone asks you a questions and you lie, the mask will cut your hand off) I didn't get my hand cut off woohoo!! Then we went to 2 very old churches and a park full of orange trees where you can see the skyline of Rome and it is very pretty! We also went to the door that has a keyhole with a view straight to the dome of Saint peters cathedral!! Then we drove through Rome and saw lots of structures from Ancient Rome and a pyramid. At 8 we went to the rest of Michela's family for a big Christmas Eve dinner. There was soooo much food and I ate way too much (but hey, it's Christmas in Italy!!). I ate mozzerella do bufala, salami, prosciutto, sausage rolls, lasagna, lots of different meats, mini pizzas, a type of quiche with prosciutto inside it and lots more!! For dessert we ate Pandoro and nut chocolate! After dinner we opened presents. Michela, Sara and Massimo have me the most fluffy dressing gown ever!! It is white with some little bits of sliver in it and is sooo warm!! I also got a pair of gorgeous leather gloves from nonna and some lip balm! (I thank them very very very much!!) we didn't get him until about 2ish and I was sooo tired!
