New Zealand Trip
Set off for the west coast with a long drive to Greymouth. Found the perfect place for lunch- a cafe with animal farm attached so girls got 2 bags of food and were chased by a horde of hungry chickens, ducks and turkeys as they tried to feed the deer, alpacas, ponies, goat, mules, peacocks etc. once we reached the coast we stopped at the pictured pancake rocks - very thin layers of rocks weathered into amazing shapes but unfortunately we missed the high tide blowhole performance. At Greymouth we wandered along the beach collecting pieces of pounamu - New Zealand jade. Our bags are definitely going to be heavier on our return! A beautiful sunset over the sea.....
