DAY 5 - Woke up very tired, slightly hungover and in a rush to get to Tamworth before 10am for the Jillaroo/Jackaroo course. Lake Keepit is about 1hr from Tamworth….we made it in time, with 5 minutes to spare!!

We went to Woolies and the bottlo to get supplies before driving out the Leconfield farm which is about half hour from Tamworth.

The rest of the day we just sat around and waited for the rest of the people to arrive on the bus which had broken down, then the spare bus to collect them broke down too! We did some paperwork then had a chat to the owner of the property and founder of the school, Brian, who is 93yrs old. He still gets involved as much as possible in the school but, just doesn't ride horses anymore.

The day was crazy hot so when everyone else arrived we all went and sat in the creek with a beer to cool off!! Until a thunderstorm and lightening arrived, then we thought we'd best get out of the water!!
