DEC 16 -

So it was time to leave Leconfield!! L We packed up everything, had brekky and headed into Tamworth……where we ended up bumping into some friends from the course, so we ended up having lunch with them too (at an all you can eat buffet). We decided we would head to Attunga and camp at a rest stop there (opposite the pub J ). We got all our stuff set up and then a bloke (Greg) walked over and told us there was a Christmas raffle (money raised goes to the local school) on at the pub and a free BBQ as well if you bought a beer. Well you don't have to tell us twice, we headed straight over to support the local school :-P

It bucketed down with rain for a fair majority of the night but we were nice and dry in the swag under the awning (which we tied down haha !!!!). We didn't end up winning anything, but that's okay as none of the prizes would have fit in our fridge i.e. half leg of ham.
