DEC17-18

Headed back towards Tamworth to go to Woolies and to Bunnings car park (to borrow some interwebs) we applied to a few jobbies and figured out where to head next. We ended up at Cockburn River Campsite near Kootingal in NSW and just by chance the same bloke (Greg) from Attunga was here too….we assured him that it was just a coincidence and we weren't stalking him haha. There was only one other bloke at the campsite (Steve), who was going through a tough time in his life so was on the drink hard for the past 5 weeks at this campsite. We had a bonfire and chatted for a while with them both.

The Cockburn Campsite was great, right on the river (so we could shower & do some laundry!) we ended up staying there for a couple of nights. Cooked our first meal in the dutch oven….plum chicken….was awesome, dutch oven works a treat!
