Hello,

Hasn't been long since I last updated, but I felt this needed it's own entry. We leave for Cairns tonight however we decided some jetskiing was needed before we left and it was quite a ride!

We spent the ride over to Daydream Island, which is one of the nice whitsunday resort/island, screaming and holding on for dear life. Claire is a manic driver and I have bruises all over my legs from where she was throwing me about. A lap around the island was needed before we arrived on the island where Claire proceeded to throw me clear off the jetski. I expected some sympathy yet received none, even from the instructor who laughed and splashed me with his ski instead. I managed to pull myself back on and was told later that people on the island heard me screaming and found it rather amusing.

Once we were on dry land again we had lunch and then proceeded to the lagoon on the island where all the wildlife live. We both held a shark which was definitely looking at me funny and fed baramundi fish, which stare at the food you have in your hand before they pounce. Everyone had a lot of fun and there were many screams. We also patted and fed stingrays which are rather sweet animals. I wanted to take one home with me.

After a swim in the pool comparing injuries, it was back on the jetski. It as a fun ride and I was rather proud when Claire screamed and promptly fell off. She claims I did this on purpose, however I had no desire to fall back in either! It's a bit of a shock hitting the water but once she started telling me off we all knew she was fine.

We enjoyed a bumpy ride home and watched as our instructor saved a capsized catamaran, and enjoyed some drinks afterwards.

It was an awesome day, probably one our favourites in Oz so far and we're both rather proud at holding that shark...it wasn't happy!
