Went out last night for the audition which turned out to be an incredibly expensive bar downtown. Keren and I were probably the youngest there by at least 10 years and if it weren't for Aaron probably 15 (they thought we were 22 - we did actually get away with it!). Still, it ended up being quite a good night and after a few beers Aaron loosened up, got up and started presenting the karaoke and did a couple of numbers (I did 'Why does it always rain on me?'). Aaron had brought a friend of his along that he had met in a bar the day before; a pretty good looking Phillipino-originated girl who we reckoned was late 20s. She works at Phizer (an international chemical corp.) so we had a bit to talk about as I had worked with them whilst I was with Sharon. We stayed there till it finished and we headed on to a cool jazz club with loads of pool tables. Was pretty cool but Keren fell asleep on my shoulder so I took her home. Nothing doing today till the pizza party here at the hostel and Union Square later.
