Right. We're here. Staying in the 'Jazz on the Park' hostel which is in a s*** area of Manhatten on the North West side of Central Park. We did 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue today which were big, long and busy, but also pretty unexciting. Still, yay! New York! We met Mario and Wario who sell bagels and pizza respectively. The pizza was just oil + cheese. Keren has some v. v. nice new shoes (the kind that tie up up the leg (= sexy)). We're both pretty knackered as we're on British time still, but we're jazz clubbing tomorrow and auditioning for a New York opera part tomorrow :-D Not bad for the first day!
