I have and all too brief visit to Oxford. I do so want to see more! It is wonderful. I only had an hour, but during that time I was able to get a glimpse of about 6 of the colleges, to visit an exhibition at the Bodleian, and to wander briefly in the Covered Market that was moved to Turl street in 1772 when it outgrew it's site on Carfax.

In the Bodlian exhibition, I saw one of the surviving copies of Magna Carta, two Jane Austed manuscripts and Mary Shelley's manuscript for Frankenstein, and an oroginal Titanic cable, an SOS to another ship saying the were sinking.
