Before setting out on my holiday, I booked two day tours to do during my week in London. I did my homework and found a very highly rated small group operating under the name International Friends. If you check Trip Advisor you will find them.

I made the booking online and received my confirmation but a day later received a second email to say that the Stonehenge - Windsor - Bath tour (the first of the two) would be leaving an hour later than advised because of the winter hours at Windsor. So I turned up at the appointed pick up spot 10 minutes early as requested and waited.

London is cold and misty this morning so the chill started to seep through the layers pretty fast. When they were 20 minutes late I called them. It seems that when the computer system made the error about the time and then corrected itself, it also changed my pick up place to the default, The British Museum, while I was waiting patiently at Marble Arch!

It's not all bad news though. They will refund the cost of today's trip. AND they will refund the cost of tomorrow's trip and make it complimentary. PLUS they are also sending me on their Friday tour around Arthurian sites. That will visit Stonehenge, Glastonbury and Avesbury. So I will still get to see the stones!!!

It's all come out well.
