I had a great surprise on the flight from Singapore to London. Two empty seats beside me meant that I could lie down and sleep!!! How fantastic is that? So I arrived at Heathrow firing on all cylinders instead of being zonked out. That also meant that I could spend my day doing more than just trying to sleep. So I played the total tourist and climbed on one of those open top buses and taking in the sights. Included in the price of the ticket was a Thames River cruise from the embankment opposite the London Eye down to the Tower of London. I finished he day listening to a very entertaining Beefeater tell me all about the Tower in a very very broad Geordie accent. He was very entertaining. I have lots of photos but haven't yet been able to load them because this blog want to use flash and I'm using my iPad. I'll post some pics once I conquer the technology.

Oh and BTW the Crown Jewels look fake to me!! Do I get executed on Tower Hill for that?
