I reach the end of the first leg of my overlanding trip as we enter Chennai. On the way we stop at a crocodile farm which was surprisingly good. I could not believe how many there were, I believe it is a breeding programme, so clearly a very successful one. Sadly we only have one day to explore the city of Chennai, so we head to the Museum and National Galleries. My favourite part was actually the children's museum, there were lots of dolls dressed in traditional costumes for each state of India, each with basic description of the area. We also managed to find a Café Coffee Day, which is very western style coffee shop chain that can be found in many of the cities, and is always a bonus. In the evening we meet the 6 new people joining the trip for the next leg up to Calcutta.
