We arrived in Port Macquarie and were picked up by the hostel, on the way back he asked us if we wee heading out to the hostel karaoke night, we said no but then decided to go just so we didn't look like boring farts. We dressed for a crappy pub with our trainers on but the karaoke turned out to be in a club for some reason. The only thing I could say about that night was that port Macquarie has the shallowest gene puddle I've seen so far. Most of the people looked mutated and i'm sure some of them had 3 legs. The folk from the hostel seemed alright at least and we all had a laugh at the angriest DJ i've ever seen in the club, he was shouting at people and calling them names at one point. It was also impossible to get a drink, you couldn't order 2 drinks at a time as they had some stupid responsible drinking guidelines, even though all the special locals were wasted and crawling along the floor, and they also didn't serve shots. Once the club finished we headed outside and it was pouring rain, we jumped in a taxi back to the hostel, sat on the veranda for a while chatting rubbish before heading off to bed.

Next day and it was raining again so the hostel owner asked everyone if they wanted a lift round to the koala sanctuary as they give out free tours, about 10folk went and it turned out to be quite good, Brid is still determined to get a picture holding one and you couldn't get it here. It rained all day and the weather for tomorrow wasn't looking much better so we just got a couple of beers and stayed in the hostel that night.

Next day and shock it's raining again, we did attempt to run into town at one point but we got soaked so ran back to the hostel. So we sat around all day watching DVD's, wasted 90mins of my life I'll never get back watching the happening, never watch this film its total rubbish, Jammy its worse than Deja Vu, honestly!!

Later everyone went bowling, I played rubbish in the first game abut managed to come back with a 160 in the 2nd game. That night we got another couple of beers and stayed in the hostel, went to bed in the early hours.

Next day and we are heading to Byron Bay today, somehow again it was raining so we didn't do anything for the morning.
