My Family Travels
Last night we bought the tickets for the museum so that we didn't run into the same problem as last night. I took my baby carrier along so that I could carry Silas instead of push him around in the stroller. We got self guided audio tours. Silas wanted to help me with mine. He also wanted to tell me all about the displays as we went through. I found some nice benches that we could sit on while dad finished up the museum. Paul really enjoyed the museum. I'm sure I would have really enjoyed it as well if I didn't have little mister. After we wandered outside. First we stopped at the grassy knoll where the assassination happened. There are x's on the street to show where exactly JFK was shot. I couldn't believe how many people went to stand on those marks to take a picture. It is a busy road. I watched many of the run back to the sidewalk because a car was coming quickly. Not smart. Then we headed over to the JFK Memorial. This memorial was so simplistic. I enjoyed the simplicity of the Washington Monument in DC, but not this one. I did enjoy taking a picture with the flowers right next to it in contrast. As for the rest of the day, we went back to repack our bags (boo) and let little mister crawl around since he had been pretty cooped up for the vacation. Not much more from today. Just a nice relaxing day.
