G'day from the land down under... We've just got back from a pretty amazing three days but I'll probably miss out stuff because we've done so much! Right, we got up pretty early on Weds for our free pancakes which were amazing - and then had to reduce all our luggage for Fraser. We got put into our groups the night before so that was all sorted but when we were getting our vans all ready for the island it was about 31 degrees and everyone was just sweating buck...

Hey everyone :) Had a weird but good day! We caught a bus this morning from Hervey Bay to Rainbow Beach which is where we are catching the boat to Fraser Island. it was absolutely boiling when we got here and we literally got straight into the pool at the hostel which was very refreshing!!! Then we had our little introductory talk to tell us all about tomorrow when we go over to Fraser - it sounds really good :D we met our group and everything and they're nice!...

Gonna be a short one.......very very tired. We got up early today and had a very big breakfast which was definitely needed and then hired bikes and cycled to end of this cycle route that runs right across the front of the beach on Hervey Bay - which is pretty long. We found this beach at the end called Gataker's beach and it was gorgeous...we were the only ones there and went swimming and did a bit of sunbathing before it got too hot. G'day! I've had the very best of days!!! Woke up extremely early this morning...jet lag is a b****! But I went for a lovely walk with a girl I've met here at Hervey Bay along the beach at 7.30 this morning. It was stunning, the sun was shining and it was really hot. The only thing is that the flood has washed all the skanky water into the sea and it's quite murky - they reckon it's gonna clear in a couple of weeks but we'll be gone by then! Marie got here today ...

Hello there :) Well, today has been a bit mad...I didn't get to sleep until 6am cos I was a bit jet lagged and the people in my dorm at the hostel were a little bit loud! But it was Friday night so they're forgiven. Then I overslept my checkout but the wonderful thing about Australians is that nothing is a big deal...they're so chilled.
