Gonna be a short one.......very very tired.

We got up early today and had a very big breakfast which was definitely needed and then hired bikes and cycled to end of this cycle route that runs right across the front of the beach on Hervey Bay - which is pretty long. We found this beach at the end called Gataker's beach and it was gorgeous...we were the only ones there and went swimming and did a bit of sunbathing before it got too hot.

Came back to the hostel and cooled down in the air conditioning. The sun is so hot here. It's really easy to burn if you're not careful! Got a bit of a burnt foot at the moment :/

Still loving having Marie around, it's so nice to have someone to go exploring with, we went up to the supermarket this afternoon and bought some BBQ stuff and then had a really chilled evening with some people we've met who're lovely. The only thing is is that it gets really early here about 6.30-7ish and then gets like at about 4ish in the morning. It's weird.

But Marie and I have got a busy few days at Rainbow Beach and Fraser Island so I better be getting to bed. We'll be on the move tomorrow and then Island bound so might not blog for a few days which is annoying cos I'm kinda doubling this up as my diary! Never mind, life here is sweet...everyone is so chilled and kind and happy to help!
