Hey everyone :)

Had a weird but good day! We caught a bus this morning from Hervey Bay to Rainbow Beach which is where we are catching the boat to Fraser Island. it was absolutely boiling when we got here and we literally got straight into the pool at the hostel which was very refreshing!!!

Then we had our little introductory talk to tell us all about tomorrow when we go over to Fraser - it sounds really good :D we met our group and everything and they're nice! We're with an Irish couple and a french girl.

Then me and marie walked down to the beach and went swimming in the sea! It's very stormy here today - it was baking this morning and then literally just clouded over and started with the old thunder and lightening. it needed to though because it was so humid...we then got called out the see by two Aussie lifeguards who told us we couldn't swim in the sea because of the storm :/ we probably shoulda guessed...

Now we're heading to the supermarket to get some supplies and then back to the hostel for a bite to eat :) It's gonna be a good couple of days! Very happy :0 missing home a lot but it's amazing here so it makes it easier.
