Hello everybody! Marie is going to help me write my blog today - so if it sounds a bit strange, that's why.

Today, we had a much needed lie - in! And stayed around the flat whilst Nina went off to dance class. They have a pool and a jacquzi here so it was nice to just chill and sunbathe for a bit.

When Gareth (Nina's husband) got back, we went to Mount Coo-tha which is basically a lookout from the very top of Brisbane which was stunning. It's so green - it kinda looks like a city in amongst a forest!

We then drove to Kangaroo Point, which is where all the news was filmed from during the floods. It looks so different now. On the news before I cam out there was footage of a boat and a floating restaurant type thing floating down the river and into a bridge, we saw that bridge today and it was so shocking to see where the water had been! Apart from that is was really lovely and so beautiful. Brisbane is a really lovely city.

Now we're back and packing ready for our breakfast BBQ tomorrow morning followed by the bus down to Surfer's Paradise and a crazy night. Not sure I'll make it on tomorrow or for the next couple of days because I'm thinking they could be quite busy.
