Today started off with a lie in and beautiful full cooked breakfast but was short lived as we miss timed our alarms so had a rush to cook, eat, wash up, pack and check out. Today was brilliant, fantastic, epic! It started off early so we could get to Waitomo as soon as possible. On the way we stopped off at Big Azz ice cream and had a massssssive 6 scoop monster. I was the only one stupid enough! It went everywhere! I accomplished the feat just before the bus pulled away and was left feeling slightly fragile. All worth it of course. Didn't sleep well at all last night! Just people coming in late, people going out in the middle of the night and work starting early outside! So didn't wake up feeling too fresh. The Kiwi Experience didn't start too well either. It said on my timetable to wait at 8:00am to be picked up, but I was told by my hostel it was 8:20. The bus didn't turn up until 8:40, and when it did I was still worrying as everyone had a ticket bar me! Thankfully my ID did the trick ...

Although my flight was only short, and the time difference between Australia and New Zealand is only 2 hours, I woke up this morning struggling with a tiny bit of jet lag. Well that's it. Australia is done! I'm sad such a big part of the trip is over but so excited that the biggest part is about to begin! Australia was awesome. The first two weeks I wasn't so lucky with good weather and the second two I was very lucky. Although it was boiling hot the whole time. For that, I'm glad to be going to a colder place!
