Sadly we didn't get to see much of Wellington but it looks like a cool place. We woke up early and got on our ferry at 7! This also meant leaving Josh as he had a few days here, but all is good as he will catch us up in Queenstown! After a bit of a confrontation about not being able to take a ball onboard the ferry, we had a chill out and I found some reclining seats to sleep on.
We arrived in the South Island just after 11. We travelled south and stopped off in some wine vineyards where the more mature travellers tasted some wine, and I had some fudge instead! Yum!
There was a real good cafe there which we all decided to eat in. It was a little expensive but I dug into a lovely chicken pot pie and had a coffee to go with! Mixed up my bus journey today by sitting next to Xenia which was nice! We had a laugh and I played DJ for a bit as we traveled through gorgeous landscapes! Wicked!
We arrived in Kaiteriteri late again which was a bummer, but we made the most of it! We all checked in and tonight it was the lads turn to cook! As me and Harry are only really good at full English that's what we decided to cook! We had breakfast for dinner! A new guy, Egg, (I know, right) joined our little group and chipped in in the kitchen! Was really fun! Being in a group helps out loads! Shopping together means we can have more variety because we all split the cost and things don't generally come in small enough sizes for one person! It also helps because cooking is less frequent as we take in turns, even when we do cook it's less of a chore because I'm not doing it alone!
Food was great and the girls really appreciated it! We went to the pub for a chill before having an early night!
