Week 19- Australia (Byron Bay) Day 6
We were up at 5am this morning ready to go and see sunrise at the lighthouse. The hostel organised a bus to take us up there. The sun was beginning to make it's way up there when we arrived. We found a spot and waited for the sun to rise it was such a clear beautiful morning so the sunrise was amazing. What also makes it even better is that the lighthouse is at the most eastern point of Australia. We took loads of pictures and did a bit of whale watching too. There were a few out genre in the distance.
After that we walked back into town and went to the farmers market which is on every Thursday morning in Byron Bay. Loads of stall selling lots of fresh produce. There were quite a few vegan stalls too. We bought a few bits that we will take home with us. We also bought a couple of cupcakes from a cupcake stall they were still hot from the oven. We met Izzy at the market and wandered round with here too. We shared some bits from the vegan stall with her it was tasty! That's the final time we will see Izzy now :(. Was lovely to have spent time with her.
After that we walked back to the hostel, ready for our 11am yoga session. This yoga session was a bit harder than yesterday's class and was really good. After that we had a free lunch of lentils and cous cous which was quite nice. After that we were in our chilled state of mind so we chilled in the hammocks again for the afternoon had a hot choc and relllaxxxeeedddd!
Cooked a bang on sausage and bean casserole for dinner, then we showered and packed all over again ready to head to surfers tomorrow. We were both shattered after being up so early! We had a cuppa and our muffins and hit the sack.
