This is the starting point for this next trek. A day to acclimatise myself before setting off. Had a little walk around Barcelona in the morning visiting the port area and checking out where our apartment is for the end of my trip, and it looks pretty good. Arrived in Toulouse and again 30 degrees. It took as long to go through passport control as the flight took. I guess they must be edgy. A lot of police and army presence on the streets, and they looked very serious. Had a pleasant dinner after the taxi driver told me not to eat seafood in Toulouse - I had a very healthy salad with a small pitcher of wine.
