June 27, 2014 Day 12 of our European Adventure Today we arrived in Naples a bit later than anticipated so our excursion began about a 1/2 hour late! Day 11 since we left the good ole USA. James here - today is our 2nd full day at sea. Every one has been encouraged not to leave the ship today since the closest land is a long ways away. I got an extra special treat today I was one of only 12 people who got to take a mega tour of the ship. Friday June 20 - James here - We went on our first tour today. It took us to St. Marks square and the Doges Palace. Then we went to see the Milano glass factory where one of their glass blowers made a pitcher out of a blob of molten glass. It was incredible! Good morning. James here - morning of Friday June 20th. Yesterday morning we were joined by some new friends we made from Australia named Rob & Carol. We took a water bus to the Rialto bridge. It is one of the most photographed bridges in all of Venice. The bridge has small vender shops setup all the way across and continuing for about 1/4 mile on each side.
