Friday June 20 - James here - We went on our first tour today. It took us to St. Marks square and the Doges Palace. Then we went to see the Milano glass factory where one of their glass blowers made a pitcher out of a blob of molten glass. It was incredible! I bought Cindy a bell for her birthday that will go in her collection. (I will guarantee the most expensive bell in her collection!) Then back to the ship by 12:15 we took off about 1:15. (The next part must be read in a piraty voice - or sponge Bob Square pants) Where saying things like; Out to the salty sea, a-hoy there, and shiver me timbers is not only ok - but is encouraged. So we are out on the salty brine, catch'n some waves and surfing the tide. Keeping our starboard side separate from our port side and keeping our bow ahead of our stern. (For you land lubbers a little boat talk there).
I will let Cindy tell you a few other things. May your sails always be filled with air - much like me. James over and out.
Cindy here now-- as we pulled out of Venice we took lots of pictures because the view was incredible! Then we checked out the buffet on the boat for our lunch! More food than one could ever want--even the most picky eater could find something he would like! Met our Australian friends & ate with them! Then we checked out the jewelry shops on the boat & I got a beautiful bracelet!
