Good morning. James here - morning of Friday June 20th. Yesterday morning we were joined by some new friends we made from Australia named Rob & Carol. We took a water bus to the Rialto bridge. It is one of the most photographed bridges in all of Venice. The bridge has small vender shops setup all the way across and continuing for about 1/4 mile on each side. Definitely a tourist trap, but it works. Cindy and Carol both had packages for Rob and I to carry. We will be getting on the boat soon so will cover more later.
Cindy here-- after a great morning of shopping at the Rialto bridge we boarded the alilaguna that took us to the port where we boarded our ship! It was the biggest ship in port & was absolutely beautiful inside! Unpacked our bags in our rooms & went out exploring the boat! The sea walk near the top decks of the boat is incredible! Can't wait til we leave port to walk above the water! Met our Australian friends for dinner & enjoyed a show of 80's music after dinner! Really enjoyed having our devotions on the balcony of our room! Weather has been awesome so far!
