Milford sound

Deemed to be the most beautiful spot in the country we headed across to new Zealand's fiord land. The early morning was touch and go and the bus journey was loooooooooong! 6/7 hours down there due to many a photo stop. But to be fair, the views were amazing! And our driver Oz gave us a running commentary the whole way down ( to the annoyance of those hungover who wanted to sleep... So everyone!)

Finally after leaving at 8am we arrived at the harbour at 3pm ready for our departure. The sun was shining high and the scenery was just stunning! Bright green tropical rainforest seared high up against the blue water. We also so cute seals sleeping and a huge waterfall. However the wind up on top deck?! Literally blew me away! But the trip was over way too quickly and soon it was back on the bus. For the long ride home. We got back at 9pm and I was just in time for Sarah's homemade lasagne! Then... You guessed it-night out!!!
