Today Becky and I went fishing with some of her friends which meant an early start on the water! We had to layer up big time and the water was really choppy. We spent the morning on the water and managed to catch a few fish (snapper's) - one was massive! I had a bit of trouble winding it up.. It was fighting big time! I'm not going to lie it was pretty creepy holding a super heavy, huge, large, live, fish!
After all of that we went back home for some lunch before going to Goat Island. There is a marine reserve there and on a good day you can see to the bottom of the sea and the fish are incredible. Today however wasn't a smooth day so we broke all the rules by feeding the fish and managed to see a few before a flock of seagulls gave our game away and spoilt the fun! We got pretty wet but I've spent another day outside all day and I love it!
We've just skinned and cooked the fish for tea! It was yummy and now just chilling before bed :)
